About the Role:
Flava Wings in Houston, TX is looking for a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team! If you love great food, thrive in a high-energy environment, and take pride in delivering consistently delicious meals, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to Flava Wings' recipes, portioning, and quality standards
Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper food handling and storage procedures
Restock ingredients and prep items to ensure smooth, uninterrupted service
Communicate effectively with team members to manage ticket times during high-volume rushes
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local regulations

Requirements:

Food Handler's Certification
Prior experience in a quick service, fast casual, or high-volume kitchen preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment, including fryers
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
