Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630 - $1,750 Location: Freeport, IL 61032 — Illinois dietitian job / Freeport, IL travel dietitian Setting: Acute Care Hospital (clinical dietitian) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026) Shift: 8-hour days (8:00am – 4:30pm), every other to every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Number of Positions: 2 openings Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience as a Dietitian in a hospital or acute care setting (clinical nutrition experience preferred) Registered Dietitian credential — RD or RDN required BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays Familiarity with MEDITECH charting system is a plus Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments and individualized nutrition interventions for patients in an acute care hospital Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, nurses, therapists) to develop and implement patient care plans Provide patient and family education on dietary needs, disease-related nutrition therapy, and discharge planning Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the MEDITECH charting system and hospital policies Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required Why join this travel dietitian opportunity in Freeport, IL?
