We offer online and hands-on training, an excellent work/life balance, opportunities for advancement, and a career path that matches your interests and goals.ServiceMaster by Crane IFS will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with a disability in order to enable them to perform the essential functions of this job.Apply and become a part of ServiceMaster by Crane IFS, one of the most respected professional cleaning companies in the country.Job Skills / RequirementsPosition Overview:The Pallet Worker maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse by collecting and removing pallets and recyclable materials, operating pallet jacks, loading trailers, and using compactors for proper disposal and recycling.Essential Functions:The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:Collect and remove pallets, cardboard, and plastic wrap from inside and outside the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe environment.Safely operate pallet jacks to transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.Load all pallets (damaged and reusable) into designated trailers for disposal or recycling.Operate and monitor cardboard and plastic compactors, emptying them when full according to safety procedures.Stage and load full pallets of compacted cardboard and plastic into trailers for removal.Additional Essential Functions:Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers with courtesy and respect.Ability to work cooperatively with others.Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism.Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.Ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects.Ability to contribute to the overall team effort including being consistently in uniform and on time.Ability to pay close attention to small details.Ability to read and write.Physical Demands:Constant standing and walking (up to 100%); frequent pulling, pushing, bending, twisting, reaching, and squatting; occasional kneeling and crawling.Must be able to work in varying warehouse environments and temperatures, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions.Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently.Additional Information / BenefitsServiceMaster by Crane IFS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
