Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – 18 bays

· Number of Staff – 25

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 CNC, 11 RNs, 1 PCT

o Night Shift – currently 2 RNs on call, but shifting to 24/7 coverage and currently hiring night staff. This position will provide 1 nurse in house and the 2nd nurse for night cases will be on call.

· Patient Ratios – 1:1 first 30 minutes or ICU LOC; 2:1 when stable. 2 RNs required in PACU at all times when a patient is present.

· EMR – Meditech Magic

· ICU level of care competency
