Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist \n Discipline: Allied Health Professional \n Start Date: 09/28/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 40 hours per week \n Shift: 8 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Clinical Dietitian \n Description: \n \n Provides comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents with specialized needs or those identified as being at nutritional risk. \n Performs nutritional assessments and reassessments and develops individualized nutrition care plans. \n Provides patient and family education regarding nutritional needs and dietary interventions. \n Communicates and collaborates effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team . \n Documents all assessments, interventions, and follow-up care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. \n Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and decision-making skills to provide safe and effective nutritional care. \n Requirements \n Schedule & Work Environment: \n \n Day Shift \n Floating required as needed throughout the Kern County Network , including AHTV, AHBD, and AHSB \n EPIC experience – Required \n \n Education & Experience: \n \n Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent – Required \n Master’s Degree – Required if eligibility for examination began on or after 01/01/2024 \n Dietetic Internship or equivalent – Required \n Clinical Dietitian experience – Preferred \n \n Licenses & Certifications: \n \n Registered Dietitian (RD) credential – Required within 6 months of completion of the residency program \n \n \n Auto Offer About Prime Staffing\n \n At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
