Dental Front Office / Hygiene Coordinator

Our small, patient-centered dental practice in Reseda is looking for an experienced Dental Front Office / Hygiene Coordinator to join our stable, long-term team.

Dental front office experience is required for this position. This role is best suited for someone who already understands the day-to-day operations of a dental office, including scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, and front-office responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable keeping the hygiene schedule productive while providing excellent service to our patients. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-train in additional front-office responsibilities, including treatment coordination and treatment plan presentation.

Schedule

Full-time: approximately 32–40 hours per week, depending on practice needs

• Monday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (Admin every other Monday)
• Tuesday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM–3:30 PM
• No weekends

Compensation & Benefits

• $21–$27/hour, based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Answer phones and provide friendly, professional patient support
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Manage patient recall and help maintain a productive schedule
• Verify dental insurance and assist with insurance-related questions
• Check patients in and out
• Collect patient portions and process payments
• Keep the hygiene and overall schedule organized, productive, and running smoothly
• Handle general dental front-office responsibilities
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and next steps
• Cross-train in treatment coordination and treatment plan presentation

What We’re Looking For REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous dental front office experience — REQUIRED
• Dental office experience is mandatory; candidates without dental front-office experience will not be considered
• Dental insurance verification experience — REQUIRED
• Experience working with dental patients and dental office scheduling
• Strong phone and customer service skills
