Social Media & Content Coordinator

We own two New York companies, based in Brooklyn and Queens: a custom millwork company producing architectural wood products and furniture for commercial clients, and a custom upholstery manufacturer that builds banquette seating for restaurants.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role at 25-30 hours per week on a set schedule. You’ll plan, create, and publish content that showcases our projects, capabilities, and brand story for both companies, mainly on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Day to day, you will:

• Post daily or weekly for both brands, with strong captions
• Coordinate with our photographer, scheduling shoots at completed job sites and in our fabrication shop and directing what gets shot
• Organize photo and video libraries and keep a content calendar for each brand
• Respond to comments, DMs, and inquiries
• Write and send periodic email blasts (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
• Gather project details from our team and track which content performs best

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or business, with work you can show us
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Comfort directing a photographer or videographer, and basic photo/video and tools like Canva or Adobe
• Email marketing experience
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines
• A self-starter who needs little supervision
• Interest in design, craftsmanship, or the built environment. Experience in architecture, construction, hospitality, or furniture is a plus
