## State and Local Government – Managing Consultant – New York City, NYApplylocations: US - NY, New Yorktime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 40191**Job Family:**Management Consulting**Travel Required:**Up to 50%**Clearance Required:**None**What You Will Do:**Guidehouse is seeking a **Managing Consultant** support the firm's engagements with NYC and NYS.The State and Local Government practice serves clients in the areas of business design, organizational strategy, program strategy, implementation of large programs, market analysis, financial modeling, operational analysis, process improvement, change management, technology strategy and transformation, compliance monitoring, program management, and reporting.**What You Will Need:** * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university* Minimum of 5+ (FIVE) years of overall work experience within the public sector space, ideally consulting experience or experience in related field.* Experience managing challenging projects and serving clients* Critical thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client’s management and operational challenges* Must currently reside within New York City metropolitan area* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Ability to travel to client locations, GH Office locations* Sponsorship is not available for this position**What Would Be Nice To Have:** * Familiarity with New York City and New York State Government practices* Experience managing challenging projects and serving clients* Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups* Management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management The annual salary range for this position is $122,000.00-$204,000.00.
