Position: Shipping & Receiving Supervisor - Memphis

Department: Operations, Shipping

Reports to: Production Manager

Scope: Ensures Shipping Department runs seamlessly and all Tasks are properly executed;

Supervise all order Pickers and Material Handlers. Responsible for Raw Material Inventory

and requisitions to ensure NO Stock Outs and NO Back Orders.

Essential Functions:

1. Supervise the Picking of Orders; ensure that all orders are picked accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Ensure that your reports have the ability to compare quickly and accurately the similarities and

differences between SKU’s to ensure pick accuracy of each order.

3. Visually inspection products, and Shipments, to ensure a quality product is being shipped and no

defects are allowed to enter commerce.

4. Review all related paperwork (ASN’s/Pick Sheets) to ensure no errors or defects exist.

5. Ensure that all Special Instructions are followed on all related paperwork.

6. Maintain and Organize the Shipping Department

7. Responsible for all Raw Material Requisitioning and Receipts for plant.

8. Supervise the Movement of Materials within the Plant.

9. Responsible for Inventory and Requisitioning of Production Supplies

10. Assist in Maintaining all Audit Requirements and ensure all Shipping/Materials are SOX’s

compliant.

11. Assist with Cycle Counts (A, B, & C’s)

12. Supervise the up keep of Mechanized Equipment, and communicate any Maintenance issues and/or

concerns.

13. All Other Duties as assigned by Management
