Warehouse Associate Material Handler

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Port Deposit, Maryland. Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour. State-of-the-art equipment and caring leadership. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred. Valid forklift operator's license. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Team player and ability to work in a diverse work environment. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization. Highly thorough and dependable. Good attendance record and punctuality. Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract. Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks. Manage day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
