Title
Registered Nurse - Orthopedics / Neuro-Spine / Med-Surg

Schedule
12-hour nights

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks or longer
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in orthopedics
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Required certifications: BCLS (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale
- Required clinical skills: IV starts, telemetry monitoring/experience, orthopedic/post-op care
- Preferred: ACLS, charge nurse experience, Level I trauma exposure

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic, neuro-spine, and med-surg post-surgical patients.
- Manage high post-operative pain and mobility needs proactively.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data for patient safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery process.

Compliance / Notes
- Strict attendance/RTO expectations.
- Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays); no RTO during the first week.
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
- Required pre-start modules (acute ~8-10 hours; non-acute ~4-5 hours) to be completed online before start.
