Substitute School Nurses

Location: All Easton, Redding and Region 9 Schools Date Available: as needed Salary: $38.00/hour. No benefits. Duties: Provide nursing services to students and the school community as needed Administer medications as required by doctor's order Monitor student health plans Collaborate with school personnel and parents Provide emergency treatment as needed to staff and students Requirements: State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License First Aid and CPR certification Ability to function autonomously within guidelines Strong assessment skills, good communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse population Familiarity and comfort with computer programs Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred Applications will only be accepted online at the Central Office Web site: under the "Employment Opportunities" link.
