Advisory Board Member

Scholar Foundry is a psychometric identity platform helping high school students build language for who they are and what problems they're drawn to, so they can make sound decisions about life after graduation. The platform grew out of No Barriers Education, a Massachusetts 501(c)(3), and is now spinning out as its own company, Scholar Foundry LLC. We're currently piloting with several Massachusetts schools through the nonprofit, with the platform itself operating as a separate for-profit entity.

What We're Looking For

We're building a small, functional advisory board and are specifically looking for people who can fill one of these gaps:

• Compliance & data privacy — someone with real FERPA/COPPA/student-data experience who can help us scale our data governance as we move into more districts and states
• Academic/psychometric validation — background in statistical modeling, psychometrics, or research design who can help us validate our scoring framework
• District-level education administration — someone who understands how schools and districts actually adopt new tools, beyond the classroom level

What This Involves

This is an informal, low-time-commitment advisory role: think a call or two a month, occasional email input, and being a sounding board as we build. This is not a paid position. We are not able to formally offer equity at this stage, though it's something we'd consider for advisors who become genuinely embedded in the work over time.
