Profil De Candidat Recherché The Maintenance Parts Manager is responsible for controlling and maintaining the inventory of spare parts, maintenance materials and supplies, working within the limitations of standard practice. Responsibilities Communicate replacement recommendations from vendors to Mechanics, determine suitability, and order or schedule parts deliveries (or pickups) to meet maintenance requirements. Review parts requests issued by Mechanics; determine required parts based on engine size, specifications, and inventory availability; research alternative vendors and secure parts at reasonable prices. Maintain status of parts requests to initiating Mechanics to prevent maintenance delays. Create and maintain documentation for requisition of parts on active purchase orders for routine purchases; document purchases against specific purchase orders; maintain records related to field purchase orders and blanket purchase orders. Receive, check, and sign incoming parts; record receipts and place them in designated storage location. Review parts invoices, validate receipt and codes, issue for payment; prepare shipment as required to return parts to vendors or for shipment of other goods; contract carriers and schedule pickup of shipments. Review and validate parts used log; confirm that listed parts are removed from inventory record, verify pricing, and determine quantity remaining in inventory. Determine the requirement to reorder standard parts for inventory based on designated inventory levels; reconcile inventory records to physical counts and update manual records. Ensure recording of fuel receipts; monitor fuel usage; place fuel orders as required to maintain established quantities. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 3‑4 years of inventory control experience. Experience in an automated warehouse or inventory control environment desired. Valid Driver’s License. Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment and safety procedures utilized in the maintenance and repair of AC/DC. #J-18808-Ljbffr
