About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x9.5-Hour Hours per Shift: 9.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: State-specific Radiologic Technology License Certifications: ARRT CT, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience, GE experience, experience in Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient settings Description: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts may vary. Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require coverage. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation. Experience in floating between multiple settings is required. Experience with adult acute care and pediatric outpatient is also necessary. The candidate is expected to perform a variety of CT procedures, including but not limited to, abdomen, chest, pelvis, and vascular studies. Experience with specific imaging techniques such as coronary CTA, myelography, and biopsy procedures is highly preferred. Knowledge of radiation safety practices and preparation and administration of contrast media is essential. Daily patient census is approximately 550, providing a dynamic work environment. Candidates should possess skills in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and venipuncture. It is important to adhere to isolation precautions and maintain patient safety standards. The unit works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide the best care for patients of all ages. Candidates must have valid certifications and be prepared to provide them upon request. References will be required to obtain clearance to start the contract.
