About the Role
We’re looking for a Sr. Product Designer to join a growing team shaping Life360’s design evolution. This is a Growth team role, ideal for someone with around 5 years of product design experience who brings strong AI fluency and wants to apply it meaningfully to accelerate the product design process. You’ll partner closely with design leadership to support and elevate active projects, while developing your craft across visual design, interaction design, and motion. If you’re excited about designing for impact, passionate about AI-augmented design workflows, and want to contribute to a product that enhances everyday family life, we’d love to meet you.

The US-based salary range for this position is $129k - $190k. We take into consideration an individuals background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

Work with AI tools to accelerate the design process and innovate on product designs.

Collaborate closely with Design and Product leadership to define and execute a forward-thinking design strategy that drives MAU, retention, and monetization.

Create and validate design hypotheses through experimentation, leveraging A/B tests and iterative design to optimize performance.

Leverage AI tools actively and fluently to accelerate design exploration, improve quality, and enhance creative output.

Ensure designs are aligned with Life360’s design system, visual language, and interaction patterns.

Create high-fidelity mockups, production-ready screens, and design assets in Figma, Figma AI, Claude, and other AI tools.

Design interactive prototypes to communicate flows, behaviors, and micro-interactions.

Contribute to interaction design and motion concepts, including micro-interactions and transitions.

Support design reviews by tightening visuals, clarifying interactions, and elevating overall quality.

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible, clear, and well-documented.

Help maintain and evolve the design system through thoughtful application and feedback.

Ship experiments and features end-to-end leveraging AI tools and workflows.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in product design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, interaction design, and attention to detail, and AI usage. Examples could include: Claude Code, Figma AI, Google Stitch, Lovable, V0, etc.

Mobile-first design experience (iOS and Android experience)

Deep, hands-on experience with AI design tools. You actively use AI to enhance speed, quality, and creative exploration in your workflow.

Strong visual design skills: you care deeply about typography, layout, hierarchy, and polish.

Expertise in Figma, including components, Figma AI, auto layout, variants, and prototyping.

Solid foundation in interaction design and user-centered thinking.

A naturally curious mindset and genuine excitement to learn, grow, and develop your craft through collaboration and feedback.

Ability to move fluidly between projects and adapt to different problem spaces.

Comfortable receiving feedback; enjoys collaborating and working with other designers.

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about improving quality.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with building or contributing to design systems.
