Job Opportunity – Radiologist (Mammography, General Radiology & Light IR) – Onsite Position

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, full-time ongoing position

Highlights:

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Radiology (required)
• Active medical license or willingness to obtain licensure with employer support
• Proficiency in mammography procedures including needle biopsies and stereotactic breast biopsies
• Ability to interpret general radiology studies across all modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, and Fluoroscopy
• Competency in light interventional radiology procedures including biopsies (thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal, CT-guided, US-guided), drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cysts), and lumbar punctures (diagnostic, myelogram, epidural)
• Current, active experience reading and interpreting all required modalities

Schedule:

Full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per month with continuous scheduling of shifts three months in advance. Standard workday is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no overnight, weekend, or call coverage required.

Case Volume & Productivity:

Radiologists will handle subspecialty case mix focusing on mammography screening and diagnostic procedures, with an expected volume of 90-100 reads and 60-70 wRVUs per 8-hour shift. Productivity is actively monitored with a target of approximately 70 wRVUs per shift. Performance standards are communicated clearly, and support is provided to help providers meet expectations throughout their contract.

Technology & Systems:

Work within a modern healthcare technology environment featuring Epic electronic medical records, Merge PACS for imaging, and Fluency dictation software. Credentialing typically takes 30-60 days, and the employer provides licensing assistance for qualified candidates.
