Nurse ManagerRandallstown, MDNORTHWEST HOSPITALNURSING EMERGENCY RMFull-time - Day shift - 8:00am-4:30pmRN Leader$44.56-$69.07 Experience basedJob SummaryThe Nurse Manager-Emergency Room and Observation unit assumes 24-hour accountability for the coordination of resources to ensure quality service to all customers, reflecting the mission, vision, and philosophy of Northwest Hospital Center and the Department of Nursing. Reports to the Director-Patient Care Services for the ED and Observation. The Nurse Manager has 2 direct reports: Assistant Nurse Managers in the ED.The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital is a 49-bed unit and currently sees 60,000+ patients annually. The Emergency Department treats major and minor illnesses, typically related to cardiac, stroke and behavioral health. Additionally, staff may provide care for orthopedic injuries or minor trauma. Our rapid care area is designated for minor illnesses. Staff members are outgoing and positive and must utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and be able to effectively implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms.
