Position Title Application Systems Analyst Location Saint Vincent College Employment Type Full-Time Shift Not applicable Exempt Status Exempt Primary Function Provide functional analysis and software/web application support to college users, focusing primarily on Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Colleague. Duties include programming, database management, data integrity analysis, systems and business analysis, report creation, and custom application development. Required Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum five years of programming and analysis experience in enterprise systems, databases, and web/mobile application development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Windows Server, SharePoint, MS SQL servers, ASP.NET, C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PowerShell, and data integration via APIs and scripting. Experience with Colleague ERP, Entrinsik Informer, and Slate preferred. Essential Duties Design, implement, and analyze reports to determine overall trends. Develop and provide training, demonstrations, and communication to end‑users. Troubleshoot application, system, and data issues; diagnose root causes and implement solutions. Research emerging technologies, tools, and best practices. Collect, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources for reporting and decision‑making. Define, create, and build data warehouse architecture and data systems. Develop, test, analyze, and implement ETL processes to organize data into a warehouse. Test and verify the structure, accuracy, and quality of warehouse data. Use third‑party applications to manage data and keep the warehouse accurate. Discuss data projects with end users; assess requirements and business needs. Resolve end‑user data and report issues; troubleshoot daily load jobs and communicate findings. Develop data warehouse process models and data dictionaries; map data flow between systems. Other Duties Develop end‑user training schedule and execution, support learning systems group. Create and maintain technical support documentation. Follow guides and documentation to implement new software, update existing software, and perform upgrades. Participate in I.T. staff meetings and institutional activities; ensure documentation and procedures comply with standards. Assist in protecting confidential personal information from security threats.
