Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and a WI or compact RN license currently in hand.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital's Maternal Child Services department
• Patient population includes antepartum, labor & delivery, LDRP, mother/baby, and Level 1 Nursery cases
• Baby-friendly protocols are followed on this unit
• Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd weekend is required
• Travelers may float as 'Helping Hands' to other units within scope as needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active WI RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Preferred certifications: STABLE, AWHONN, and ACLS
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Block scheduling is available at manager's discretion
• One holiday shift is required, with possible participation in a holiday rotation
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
