American Trades Contracting is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician with strong experience bending rigid conduit. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians who take pride in clean, precise work and have experience in industrial settings. Looking for both Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians!
Position Overview:
The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in industrial environments, with a strong emphasis on bending and installing rigid conduit (RMC). Candidates should be confident working independently or as part of a crew and capable of producing high-quality, code-compliant work.
Key Responsibilities:
Must have FR Clothing!
Measure, cut, thread, and bend rigid conduit (RMC) to exact specifications
Install cable trays, panels, MCCs, and industrial electrical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings
Pull wire and terminate electrical components
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed
Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and job site safety standards
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
Demonstrated ability to bend rigid conduit accurately and efficiently
Strong understanding of NEC and industrial electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
OSHA certification (preferred but not required)
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if needed
