Makos Marina Bar & Grill is seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Set up and maintain assigned kitchen stations (grill, sauté, fry, etc.)
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and inventory as needed
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
• Support team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications:

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work in a hot, high-volume kitchen environment
