About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required. License: Active Ohio RN license required. Certifications: Current BLS certification required. Must-Have: Epic EMR proficiency required. Description: This position primarily involves working on the Respiratory unit. The unit admits patients with respiratory conditions. Occasional floating between various Med-Surg units will be required. Units may include Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. The schedule includes 36 hours per week. This is a night shift position from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Every other weekend work is required. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Candidates must be proficient in reading Telemetry. Candidates will be tested for Telemetry reading skills on the first day. Failure to pass the competency test will result in termination. Candidates will also be terminated if they are not Epic proficient. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application. Failure to provide complete RTO information may affect eligibility. The facility retains the right to cancel up to 36 hours during the contract period. This may include shifts that are not limited to 12 hours. Holiday coverage will be required.
