Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire / Direct Hire
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment while helping minimize downtime and maintain safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, responding to equipment breakdowns, identifying the causes of failures, and completing repairs safely and efficiently.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
• Overtime and occasional off-shift support may be required based on production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, sensors, piping, controls, and other production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues affecting production and facility operations.
• Repair or replace pumps, seals, bearings, valves, sensors, hoses, piping, and related components.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and restore production operations.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they result in downtime or safety concerns.
• Perform basic fabrication, assembly, installation, and equipment modification work.
• Assist with ventilation, exhaust, compressed air, water, wastewater, heating, and other facility systems.
• Work safely around wet-process equipment, industrial utilities, and chemical environments.
• Document completed repairs, parts used, equipment conditions, and recommended follow-up actions.
• Maintain an organized maintenance area and help manage tools, parts, and supplies.
• Support equipment installations, facility projects, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety, environmental, PPE, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment .
• Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with pumps, valves, motors, sensors, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including checking power, switches, sensors, and basic electrical components.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and communicate repair status clearly.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently.
• Welding, fabrication, plumbing, HVAC, controls, or wastewater-treatment experience is a plus.
