RAN Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Operations Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on remote network surveillance and troubleshooting for a nationwide 5G RAN deployment. This is an on‑site role supporting Tier II diagnostics, outage restoration, and mentoring Tier I NOC technicians. Key Responsibilities: Provide on‑site operational support for 5G Core, RAN, and Transport systems. Lead Tier II troubleshooting and outage restoration efforts. Monitor alarms, track events, and escalate faults as needed. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve network issues. Document incidents and corrective actions in ticketing systems. Support deployment of new 5G sites and fronthaul transport. Conduct site health checks and maintenance activities. Analyze network faults using vendor tools and probes. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives. Provide incident reviews and root cause analysis to leadership. Qualifications: Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta Market. OSHA 10 Certified and RF Awareness required. Samsung Wireless 5G Deployment Certification highly preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in Transport troubleshooting (Backhaul/Fronthaul). Strong understanding of 5G RAN architecture and ORAN functions. Experience with CIQ, network diagrams, call flows, and deployment MOPs. Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage high‑stress situations. Familiarity with ticket tracking systems and network monitoring tools. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
