Accounting Analyst

Duties Complete complex accounting analysis requiring the application of accounting theory independently. Monthly preparation and analysis of estimated contractual adjustments, charity and bad debt, the preparation and filing of Medicare and Medicaid annual cost reports and settlements with independent judgement. Preparation and maintenance of annual budgets, Federal/State and Local tax returns, reporting to the state COPN Regulatory Authority, and cost analysis with independent judgement. Interpret and communicate federal and state regulations. Manage and assess priorities and deadlines with independent judgement. Assess the theoretical integrity of accounting functions performed in the area of responsibility. Recommend and implements improvements. Serve as a liaison with regulatory and taxing agencies, external consultants, auditors, and RHS leadership and administrators. Education Bachelors Degree, Accounting or Finance/Business with concentration in Accounting (Required) Masters Degree, Related field (Preferred) Experience 1 year Accounting experience with Analysis/Budget/Financial Statements (Required) Prior experience in Healthcare Accounting/Finance (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - The AICPA (Preferred) Skills Excellent Excel skills needed, heavy use of Pivot tables and advanced formulas. #J-18808-Ljbffr Solve IT Strategies, Inc.
