Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Boutique hours are Sun - Fri 10 am - 8 pm, Sat 10 am - 9pm

The NOW Massage Maitland is looking for a General Manager who loves building a strong team, taking great care of guests, & growing a business. This is a hands-on job. You will focus on five things: leading your team, building your team, driving sales, taking great care of guests, & growing the boutique. Our boutique is located in Maitland, minutes from Winter Park & north Orlando.

What You'll Do

Lead the Team

· Coach & motivate your front desk team (we call them Experience Guides) & your massage therapists.
· Tell people what you expect. Hold them to it.
· Praise good work. Deal with problems when they come up.
· Build a team people want to be part of.

Build the Team

· Look for good massage therapists & front desk staff before you need them.
· Maintain staffing to meet guest demand.
· Interview people & pick the strong ones.
· Train new hires well. Keep your best people.

Drive Sales

· Lead the numbers: memberships, rebookings, add-on services, & retail sales.
· Coach your front desk team on how to sell.
· Check your numbers each week. Spot chances to do better. Act fast when something slips.
· Build a team that sells by making real, honest connections with our guests.

Create an Exceptional Guest Experience

· Make sure every guest gets the care The NOW is known for.
· Read guest feedback. Coach your team on what to fix.
· Handle guest complaints calmly & well.
· Turn new guests into members who tell their friends about us.

Grow the Boutique

· Own the boutique's sales & membership growth.
· Know what drives the business, & manage those things.
· Build relationships with local people & businesses.
· Keep labor & other costs you control in line.
· Use your numbers to find ways to improve.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

· You have led a team & helped people grow.
· You are good at coaching, & at holding people to a standard.
· You have driven sales & can point to the results.
· You care about taking great care of people.
· You go looking for good people instead of waiting for them to apply.
· You are comfortable using numbers to make decisions.
· You spot a problem & fix it.
· You can work a flexible schedule. That means some nights, & at least one weekend day each week. The General Manager should be seen across different shifts, so guests & the team see you — not just on weekday mornings.
· You have managed in hospitality, wellness, fitness, retail, a spa, or a similar service business. We prefer this, but it is not required.

Massage experience helps, but you do not need it. You do not need a massage license for this job.
