Registered Nurse – Oncology/Hematology

Schedule

12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week. Every other weekend rotation.

Assignment Details

Length of contract: 26 weeks, longer contracts preferred (26-51 weeks). Please be flexible with orientation dates: 10/05/2026, 10/19/2026, 11/02/2026, 11/16/2026, 11/30/2026.

Requirements

• Current KS or multistate nursing license.
• AHA BLS certification required; chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required; oncology/hematology experience preferred.
• Charting system: Epic (test out option available).
• Immunity status for Hep B, MMR, & Varicella or proof of vaccination series completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with hematological and oncology diagnoses.
• Manage inpatient chemotherapy administration and related symptom management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver palliative and hospice care.
• Ensure patient safety and reduce risks through active engagement in patient care practices.

Compliance / Notes

RTO policy: HCP may request 1 holiday off. No first-time travelers accepted. All required certifications and licensure must be included at the time of submission.
