Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures within a hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, support clinicians, and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedure assessments and gather patient histories.
• Support physicians during cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, maintaining sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any clinical changes promptly.
• Document procedure details and patient responses accurately.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-procedure care.
• Comply with infection control standards and hospital protocols throughout care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of cardiology or cath lab nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac procedures and invasive device management.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Be able to lift and position patients as required, adhering to safety guidelines.
