In return, you will earn an industry competitive salary, plus an earned bonus.We are looking for a General Manager for our location at 1020 West St, Grinnell, IA.In addition to an upbeat culture and progressive pay, we pride ourselves on the benefits we offer – medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement, short-term and long-term disability, vacation, free uniforms and meals. But one of the benefits we really take pride in are the days we are closed or close early to allow our employees to spend time with their families. We close on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas and close early on July 4th and on New Year's Eve. Staying in tune with our family values, our General Managers generally work no more than 45 hours a week.Responsibilities include:Daily operations of restaurantManaging all areas in front and back of houseHiring, training, retaining, and developing Team Members to take on advanced rolesHolding Team Members accountable to operational and quality standardsEnsuring food qualityManaging food and labor cost budgetsMaintaining exceptional cleanliness of the restaurant, inside and outEnsuring your team provides a great Customer experienceTJIA owns and operates 22 restaurants in Iowa.
