Scientist - Potency Assay / ELISA

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a scientist to execute potency assays, ELISA, and flow cytometry methods supporting drug development studies. The fully onsite Boston role involves assay troubleshooting, data analysis, and regulatory-compliant documentation within a collaborative laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute potency bioassays, flow cytometry, and ELISA plate-based methods for drug development studies
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and trend assay performance; perform data analysis and verification
- Support identification, development, and validation of assay controls and cell-line maintenance
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including electronic lab notebooks, test forms, SOPs, and study reports
- Promote cross-functional communication regarding workflow logistics and data reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biology, or related lab science
- 2+ years of experience executing potency assays and ELISA or equivalent Master's degree
- Experience with flow cytometry or immunostaining-based analytical methods
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment: multichannel pipettes, centrifuges, microscopes, plate readers, flow cytometers
- Strong written and oral communication with ability to maintain clear technical documentation
- Ability to organize experimental data analysis using Excel
- US legal work authorization without sponsorship required
Compensation: $35.00–$40.50 hourly
