Systems Administrator

Role: Systems Administrator
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Remote
A few areas that will be especially important to vet for:
- Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale production and test environments
- Strong hands-on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems administration
- Endpoint and server patching experience, ideally with Intune, Patch My PC, and Jamf
- Experience with patch testing, deployment rings, maintenance windows, validation, and rollback planning
- Vulnerability remediation and experience partnering with Security teams
- Strong understanding of change management and production controls
- Ability to recognize risks/issues proactively and follow appropriate escalation procedures
- Experience participating in on-call rotations and independently troubleshooting production incidents
- Strong communication - proactively providing status updates, communicating risks, and escalating when appropriate
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability for work through completion
