As a Visiting Angels Part Time Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include: Helping clients with personal care and hygiene Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks Planning and preparing meals with clients Handling light housekeeping duties Reporting health changes or unusual incidents Providing pleasant, supportive companionship Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands A Visiting Angels Part Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) works under a Registered Nurse, and there are no supervision responsibilities with this position. The CHHA has HIPAA restricted access to certain client information, and is an hourly per-diem, non-exempt Direct Care staff member with no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week.
