The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join one of its portfolio businesses. The CFO will be a key player in providing actionable insights, supporting commercial decision-making, and enhancing the analytical infrastructure to transform operational, inventory, and sales data into business intelligence. This role is pivotal in the company's growth strategy, particularly in the context of a planned future transaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in distribution or other inventory-intensive environments, with a proven track record as a CFO in a private equity-backed lower-middle market business. Strong analytical and operational finance capabilities are essential, as is the ability to support cross-functional commercial decision-making. Experience in M&A and a solid integration background are also highly valued. The successful CFO will be a passionate and committed leader, capable of honoring the company's past while driving it into the future. The role requires a candidate with a strong will to win, who can contribute to the company's scaling through organic growth initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic acquisitions. The CFO will work closely with the private equity firm to further integrate recent acquisitions and enhance the commercial and analytical infrastructure. A background in a business model with a complex inventory and merchandising environment, particularly in the consumer and retail end market, is a significant advantage. The position is with a mid-market company, and the CFO will play a critical role in the company's journey towards a successful exit, planned for 2028.
