Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Tool & Die manufacturing and maintenance experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of CNC and conventional machining equipment
• Experience working with metals, alloys, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and geometric tolerancing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills

Job Duties

• Design, build, modify, and repair tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges from engineering drawings and CAD models
• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment to precise tolerances
• Assemble, fit, and troubleshoot dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
• Diagnose tooling and production issues to minimize downtime and product defects
• Inspect finished tooling and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Perform preventive maintenance on dies, tooling, and production equipment
• Support TPM, LEAN, and Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor technicians and operators on tooling best practices and proper equipment use
• Maintain accurate tooling records, maintenance logs, and work orders within ERP systems

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Frequent lifting of up to 65 pounds
• Ability to work in a production environment with temperatures ranging from 40°F to 110°F
• Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators when needed
• Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends

What You Will Do


As a Tool and Die Technician you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
