Job Summary

A financial services organization in El Monte, CA is seeking a Recruiter for a contract/temporary opportunity supporting full-cycle recruiting for branch and staff positions. This Recruiter role is ideal for a motivated HR, sales, or recruiting professional who enjoys building candidate pipelines, partnering with hiring managers, and representing an organization professionally in the community.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned open positions, including posting requisitions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating assessments, presenting candidates, extending offers, and initiating onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiting leadership to review staffing needs, provide status updates, and support effective hiring decisions.
- Build candidate pipelines through resume databases, referrals, advertising, cold calling, career events, and community outreach.
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools, universities, and local community organizations to increase candidate flow and organizational visibility.
- Use an Applicant Tracking System to manage recruiting activity, candidate records, and hiring process documentation.
- Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $33.60 to $38.46 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/temporary.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Manage full-cycle recruiting for branch and staff openings.
- Source, screen, assess, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Support staffing model reviews and provide recruiting status updates.
- Maintain compliant hiring practices and accurate applicant tracking records.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources, sales, or recruiting.
- Basic knowledge of recruiting techniques and candidate sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use an Applicant Tracking System as part of the recruiting process.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
- Ability to manage difficult conversations tactfully, provide appropriate pushback, and support win-win hiring outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to maintain focus on key deliverables.
- High level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Genuine commitment to diversity and fair hiring practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- College degree preferred.
- Recruiting experience in banking, financial services, or retail preferred.
- Basic understanding of EEO guidelines and recruiting laws preferred.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin or English/Cantonese skills are a plus.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus.
- Experience with a Talent Management Solution or Applicant Tracking System is a plus.
