Job Title: Welder Job Description

This is a welding role in a manufacturing company where you will be responsible for performing various types of welding tasks, primarily focusing on MIG welding on steel.

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform fillet welds and primarily MIG welds on steel.
• Conduct multi-pass welding as required.
• Weld brackets and steel plates.
• Work with circular welds on parts placed on a table.

• Minimum 6 months experience as a MIG welder.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Previous experience welding on steel.
• Possession of personal welding gear, including hood, coat, and gloves.

• Previous experience reading weld symbols.
• Experience with stick welding.

Work in a manufacturing facility on the first shift from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The environment requires wearing appropriate welding gear such as hood, coat, and gloves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Michigan City, IN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
