Responsibilities Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under direct supervision of a licensed PT. Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance care services. Communicate regularly with the supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to ensure assessment, reassessment, and treatment plan adjustments. Participate in education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within scope of practice. Qualifications Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA. Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion of BLS within the first 90 days of employment.
