FURNITURE MOVER Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Furniture Mover for a company based in Rockville, MD. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support a fast-paced moving operation while safely handling, loading, transporting, and unloading furniture and related items.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Wednesday 2pm until finished (10+ hour shift)
Thursday 9am-5pm
Sunday 3:30pm- until finished (12+ hour shift)
Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm (warehouse in Baltimore, MD)
Furniture Mover Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading
- Moving furniture and equipment cases in and out of hotel rooms
- Operate equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and hand tools to facilitate the loading/unloading process.
- Ensure that all items are securely loaded and unloaded, adhering to safety protocols
Furniture Mover Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy furniture and cases safely and efficiently, up to 75lbs and more safely with two-man lift.
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments
