Groundskeeper

About the Role Our Groundskeepers are essential team members who maintain the overall curb appeal of our apartment communities. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Property Maintenance : perform daily property walks, maintain curb appeal, remove trash and debris, and assist with seasonal needs such as snow removal and leaf clearance. Operations : maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure proper use and storage of tools and vehicles. Customer Service : respond to resident needs promptly and professionally, and communicate work status and potential issues to the Service Manager. Safety & Compliance : follow OSHA and company safety standards, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year of previous experience as a Groundskeeper or similar function preferred. Ability to speak and understand English. General computer knowledge. Knowledge of and ability to use grounds tools and equipment. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays. Valid driver’s license required. Benefits Paid time off, paid holidays, and sick days.
