Imaging Support IR Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Support IR Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting vascular interventional radiology procedures by being actively involved in the entire case workflow.

Responsibilities

• Pull inventory and order cases using EPIC prior to procedures.
• Operate the table and controls during interventional radiology cases.
• Perform 3D spins and work with fusion technology.
• Engage actively in the room throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images.
• Utilize HI-IQ to document and add inventory used during cases.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the operating room team, and other members of the procedural team.
• Support simple surgical cases during downtime using a C-arm, including procedures such as Impellas and cystoscopies.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active Virginia license required; candidates with pending licensure may be considered for temporary positions if they are licensed in another state.
• Strong experience in vascular interventional radiology procedures is essential.
• Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position with 8-hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00.
• Rotating call every 4th week.
• 50-mile radius rule applies.
