Trade Show Manager

We have an immediate opening for a Trade Show Manager. This position presents a great opportunity and a path to marketing management with an internationally renowned company. HEIDENHAIN is considered a leader in the area of motion control and is at the forefront of research and development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Continuously learn and become familiar with HEIDENHAIN products and markets.
• Be involved in the strategic planning phases for all trade shows and events.
• Be the point person for all trade shows and events including pre-show planning and communication, pre-show setup, mid-show monitoring, and post-show tear down.
• Prepare post-show reports including analysis of show value and ROI.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Business Development to help identify trade show strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with trade show coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event planning, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of exhibit design and event marketing strategies.
• Solid experience with Microsoft office particularly, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Domestic travel of at least 35% is required, with potential to increase up to 50% during peak trade show season. This does occasionally includes evenings and weekend work.
• Periodic international travel is required, as is a current passport.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, as is experience working for a global brand.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, sit, kneel, and walk for extended periods as required for event setup and breakdown. Ability to handle warm non-climate-controlled spaces during setup and breakdown at Tradeshows. Temperatures may vary at convention centers
