11 Description:
ICU Float Position Position Overview
- Will float to Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC
- Will accommodate 48-hour contracts
- Preferred Start Date: 12/28/25
- Candidate must not start later than 1/12/26
- Medical Intensive Care & Neuro Critical Care Units
- 32-bed Medical ICU also licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients
- Split between 2 floors
- Great staffing most times
- Unit Size/Beds: 32 Beds
- Expected Ratios: 1:2 or 1:1 if acuity requires
- Sepsis
- ESRD & AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH
- Post cardiac arrest care
- Respiratory failure
- 1 year in a Level 1 ICU, otherwise 2 years preferred experience in MICU setting
- NIHSS required
- BLS required must be through American Heart Association
- ACLS required must be through American Heart Association
- Looking for strong ICU nurses with good backgrounds
- "A nurse who has only 1 year experience and was a new grad may be too new for our unit"
