Where You Will Work Our Henderson mine and mill are an hour drive apart – separated by the Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles underground). The Henderson mine is an underground molybdenum mining operation located approximately 42 miles west of Denver and 10 miles west of Empire. It has been in operation since 1976 and today consists of a large block-cave, underground mining complex feeding a concentrator with a current capacity of approximately 32,000 metric tons per day. It can produce approximately 15 million pounds of molybdenum per year. The Henderson mill is located 15 miles west of the mine, between Dillon and Kremmling. Both sites are surrounded by US Forest Service land of the Arapaho National Forest, making it easy for our employees and their families to enjoy year-round hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the area. Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines. Description Under supervision safely maintain, install, and repair multiple types of electrical systems and equipment in support of a Mill/processing site. Responsibilities Removal, repair and installation of electrical systems and components within the following areas and systems: Mill (primary/regrind), leach area, packing area, boiler room, reagent area, acid house, general mill, conveyor equipment, air, water and power line systems Performs equipment electrical analysis and diagnosis, troubleshooting and systems/process optimization Works on Switchgear and Distribution: Grounding, lockout/tagout procedures, use of jumper forms Preventative maintenance: Checking motors, checking for ground loops, metering electrical circuits, calibrating equipment and completing additional checks Performs NRC conduit bending and fastening: Conduit, cable tray, grounds, boxes, and calculating loads and feeder sizes May be required to use Mobil Equipment: Forklifts, light duty vehicles, bucket trucks, high-lift trucks Performs other duties as required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Completion of an approved certified electronics, electrical and/or instrumentation program OR a minimum of two (2) years of experience OR a combination of education and experience in industrial electrical and/or instrumentation repair and maintenance Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings/prints, and electronic prints Knowledge of proper SOPs Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety. Preferred High School diploma or GED Criteria/Conditions Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, procedures, and applicable safety standards Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment Work is performed in a manufacturing plant which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electric shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles Standing, sitting, manual dexterity, climbing stairs and ladders, working on elevated platforms, talking, hearing, seeing, and working in confined spaces Occasionally may be asked to life moderately heavy to heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) Will be required to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation, including weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business needs dictate Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and other protective equipment as required What We Offer You The estimated pay range for this role is currently $29.50 - $39.50/hour . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
