Occupational Therapist - Outpatient (Atlanta, GA) Location: 1995 N Park Pl SE Suite 410, Atlanta, GA 30339 Schedule: Monday through Friday Salary: Competitive Salary (pending experience) Our outpatient orthopedic team is seeking an occupational therapist to join us in providing quality patient care. New grads welcome; we value mentorship and a collaborative approach to care. Overview We are passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience and helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. Responsibilities Collaborative approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician. Leadership: Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations. Personalized treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation in a timely manner. Build relationships: Develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain positive interactions with centers and patients. Innovative opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with approval from the manager and referring physicians per HIPAA guidelines. Best practices: Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and apply evidence-based practice. High standard of care: Understand and adhere to the state Practice Act and other laws governing OT practice and supervision.
