Sales Design Consultant

Team members contribute to projects that elevate how clients experience their outdoor spaces. The Sales Design Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Orlando. This role involves meeting with prospective and existing clients to understand their outdoor living needs, presenting design concepts, and recommending products such as pergolas, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, heating and cooling solutions, and outdoor furniture. The consultant prepares proposals, estimates, and layout plans, and collaborates with installation and project teams to ensure designs are accurately executed. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, providing follow-up communication, maintaining product and material knowledge, and offering professional guidance on design and furnishings. The role also requires onsite visits, showroom consultations, and consistent, high-quality customer service throughout the sales and installation process. Qualifications Strong customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to listen, identify needs, and provide tailored solutions. Proven sales skills, including consultative selling, closing techniques, and managing a pipeline or territory. Knowledge of interior and outdoor space design principles, including layout planning and aesthetic coordination. Experience working with furniture and furnishings, ideally in a design, retail, or showroom environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation abilities. Comfort working in an on-site, client-facing role in the Greater Orlando area, including occasional evening or weekend appointments as needed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Basic proficiency with design or visualization tools (e.g., sketching, design software) and common office software. Previous experience in outdoor living, home improvement, or luxury residential design and sales is beneficial.
