TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Issaquah, Washington, 98029!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Candidates must have experience in labor and delivery. The unit features 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. Nurses will circulate for OB-GYN, post-operative, pre-operative, and low-risk antepartum cases. It is required to administer blood and blood products, as well as manage cardioversion and defibrillation. Experience with special equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps is essential. Nurses are expected to attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases. Responsibilities also include assisting with GYN surgeries and providing couplet care. The unit has a staffing ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. Floating to postpartum and NICU may be required based on skill set. Candidates must have experience with anticoagulation therapy, pain assessment, and management. Experience in maintaining central lines and using intrauterine pressure catheters is needed. This role includes teaching and triaging obstetrical patients. Candidates should also possess skills in wound assessment and care. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Providers will be supplied with communication devices necessary for their duties. Providers will need to submit their monthly cell phone bill directly if such devices are not provided. No direct communication with facility contacts is permitted unless scheduled for an interview. Modules will need to be completed before starting and annually thereafter. Time spent on modules is self-reported and recorded in transcripts.
