The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for creating a welcoming and healing environment by providing quality, sufficient and appropriate clinical services and maintaining high professional standards.

As a Dispensing Nurse with BCCS, you will:

· Are primarily involved in dispensing methadone, a medication long known for its effectiveness in treating opiate addiction.

· Assists with Intake process

· Participates in treatment planning meetings.

· Follows-up on all medical referrals and records actions

· Facilitates detox entry with proper referral

Requirements:

Qualifications for this position are:

· Currently a licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware

Schedule:

· Monday and Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

· Two Saturdays per month: 5:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

· Additional hours may be available daily during dispensing times at both the Milford and Georgetown sites, from 5:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., if the candidate is interested.

Pay:

· LPN: Starting at $30/hour.

· RN: Starting at $40/hour.
