IT System Administrator with ACTIVE TS/SCI With Polygraph (US Citizenship REQUIRED) $60/hr - $69/hr W2 (no health benefits no paid PTO while on contract-an hour worked is an hour paid) TS/SCI with Polygraph, Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required at time of hire. Scottsdale AZ 85257 (no relocation package) GeoLogics is currently seeking an IT System Administrator in Scottsdale, AZ. As a member of our Information Assurance Security team, you will support the Information System (IS) Risk Management Framework activities from system categorization and IS package preparation, to vulnerability scan review, Change Control execution, and system upgrade support during program execution. The role maintains the day‑to‑day security posture and continuous monitoring of Information Systems for DoD security programs, including event & information management review, analysis, end‑user account audits, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform weekly system audit reviews, media reviews, and hardware/software configuration management Perform monthly scans and coordinate with team members to adjudicate results Execute security testing and evaluation to ensure correct implementation of security controls Support the assessment and mitigation of vulnerabilities throughout a system’s life cycle Perform incident response and cleanup actions when necessary per company or customer directions Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and procedures outlined in the System Security Plan (SSP)

REQUIRED SKILLS

RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) & Windows Administration Experience Experience with various system security assessment/hardening tools – SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, ACAS/Nessus, etc. Trained and proficient in Assured File Transfer (AFT) procedures Self‑starter with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision Install and configure servers Understanding of STGs & Vulnerability resolution Outstanding communications skills Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team throughout the system life cycle DoD 8570 Certification meeting IAM Level I (e.g., Security+, CE, CAP, GSLC) Adjudicated polygraph Cleared TS/SCI Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
