Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to a mix of inpatients and outpatients in a supportive acute care setting
• Treat a variety of diagnoses including ortho, neuro, wounds, and general debility
• Collaborate with a team of 2 FT staff PTs and supportive nurses for integrated patient care
• Precept new staff as needed and contribute to a positive team environment
• Manage 7 treatment hours per day with a focus on quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapy license and national certification (NPTE)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of experience in physical therapy, preferably with IP/OP exposure
• Comfortable with wound care (preferred but not required) and MEDITECH charting
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings
• Experience with wound care, ortho, neuro, and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment
• Familiarity with MEDITECH electronic health records
